Description: Founded in 1893 by Charles Francis Adams, Jr., and other leading citizens, the Quincy Historical Society remains community-based, even as its work extends to the region and the nation. A not-for-profit organization supported by volunteer contributions, it welcomes membership by individuals, families, and businesses. Located in the Adams Academy Building, the museum and shop is open Monday - Friday, 9-4 PM. Phone: 617-773-1144
